Printing and Lamination

Printing & Copying

Copying and printing from a flash drive are available any time during normal library hours. Printing from a library computer is available until the computers shut off, which is 15 minutes before the library closes. Printing from a non-library computer is not available - if a patron needs to print from their own device, they may email it to themselves and print from a library computer or use a flash drive. Patrons must pay for any pages they print; if a patron needs assistance printing the correct pages they need, please ask for assistance. The cost of copies per side is as follows:

  • Standard size (8.5" x 11"): $.25 for colored printing / $.10 for black and white printing
  • Legal size (8.5" x 14"): $.50 for colored printing / $.25 for black and white printing
  • Ledger size (11" x 17"): $.75 for colored printing / $.50 for black and white printing

If a patron wants to bring their own colored or special paper, they may, however the price for printing does not change. If the paper is too thick or glossy, the machine may not be able to print on it.

Lamination

The library offers 2 types of lamination that patrons may utilize. The cost for both types is $1 per 1' of lamination film used.

Hot lamination is a higher quality lamination that uses heat to make the 2 sides of film adhere together around a flat object. The film roll can laminate something up to 24.5" wide with no limit to length. This process does take some time to warm-up, so we generally ask that you drop off the items to be laminated and pick them up when they're finished.

Cold lamination is a lower quality lamination that uses adhesive to make the 2 sides of film adhere together and to a flat object. The film roll can laminate something up to 8.25" wide with no limit to length.
